Terms of Service
Version v1 · Biblio Publishing / The Educational Publisher Inc.
These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your use of the Biblio Publishing Author Portal (the Portal), operated by The Educational Publisher Inc., dba Biblio Publishing, 1313 Chesapeake Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43212. 1. What the Portal is. The Portal is a private workspace where invited authors follow the production of their book, provide information and files, review and approve proofs, and see records related to their publishing project. Access is by invitation only. 2. Your account. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. We may suspend or close accounts that are misused or no longer connected to an active project. 3. Your materials. Files and information you submit through the Portal (manuscripts, images, specifications, corrections) remain yours. You grant us permission to store and use them for the purpose of producing and publishing your book and administering your project. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you submit. 4. Our materials. The Portal, its software, and content we prepare for your project (layouts, cover designs, generated files) may not be copied or reused outside your project except as your publishing agreement provides. 5. The publishing agreement is separate. These Terms cover use of the Portal only. The publishing of your book is governed by the Publishing Agreement, which is presented to you in the Portal for signature at final proof approval. If these Terms and the Publishing Agreement conflict, the Publishing Agreement controls for publishing matters. 6. Accuracy of records. The Portal shows the state of your project as we record it. We work to keep it accurate, but the Portal is an administrative convenience: formal notices and obligations are as set out in the Publishing Agreement. 7. Availability. We aim to keep the Portal available but do not promise uninterrupted access, and we may change or retire features. 8. Termination. You may stop using the Portal at any time. Closing your Portal account does not by itself end any publishing agreement in force. 9. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Venue for any dispute concerning the Portal is Franklin County, Ohio. 10. Changes. If we change these Terms, the Portal will present the new version for your acceptance. The version you accepted remains recorded. Questions? Reply to your invitation email.
