This policy describes how The Educational Publisher Inc., dba Biblio
Publishing (we, us) handles information in the Author Portal.

1. What we collect. Your name, email address, and password (stored only as
a secure hash); the book information, files, and specifications you submit;
records of the steps of your project, including approvals you give and
documents you sign in the Portal (with the date, time, and network address
of the action, kept as evidence of the signature); and payment-related
records for your project. We do not collect payment card numbers through
the Portal.

2. What we use it for. Producing and publishing your book, administering
your project and royalties, communicating with you about it, and keeping
the legal records that publishing requires (for example, ISBN and Books in
Print registrations, which are public bibliographic records by nature).

3. What we share. Book metadata is shared with the services that publishing
requires — printers, retailers (such as Amazon), distributors, and
bibliographic registries (such as Bowker) — as needed to publish and sell
your book. We do not sell your personal information. Service providers who
host our systems process data on our behalf.

4. Where it lives. Portal data is stored on our hosting provider's servers
in the United States.

5. How long we keep it. Project and signature records are kept for as long
as your book remains in print or as the law and our agreements require.
You may ask us to close your Portal account at any time; records required
for royalties, taxes, or the publishing agreement are retained.

6. Your choices. You can see most of your project information in the Portal
itself. Contact us to correct your personal details or ask questions about
this policy — reply to your invitation email or write to us at 1313

7. Changes. If this policy changes, the Portal will present the new version
for your acceptance. The version you accepted remains recorded.
